Hardware Shipping, Returns, and Warranty Information
Shipping and Delivery
All shipments are invoiced to the customer according to the selected shipping method.
Shipping options (per shipment):
- Pick-up parcel: NOK 250
- Door delivery: NOK 500
- Courier (Oslo postcodes): NOK 600
- Express door delivery: NOK 900
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the customer is responsible for shipping costs.
Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)
Customers have the right to return purchased equipment within 14 days of receipt.
Conditions:
- The product must not have been used.
- The original packaging must not have been opened.
- The customer must contact Favrit Support or the shop team before returning any items.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds are processed after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Favrit Support or Shop must be contacted before initiating a return.
Warranty
Warranty periods:
- New hardware: 1 year from shipment date
- Used hardware: 6 months from shipment date
Warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects
- Hardware malfunctions not caused by the customer
Warranty does not cover:
- Misuse or external damage (including tamper detected)
- Liquid damage
- Normal wear and tear
- Consumables such as batteries, cables and adapters, unless defective upon delivery
Replacement Process
Before any replacement is issued, the customer must contact Favrit Support and complete troubleshooting steps.
If the issue cannot be resolved remotely and the equipment is required for continued operations, a replacement device may be sent.
The customer must return the reported defective device for inspection.
After inspection:
- If the device is confirmed defective and covered under warranty →
The replacement device is free of charge and any applicable shipping costs are credited. - If the returned device is functioning normally →
The customer will be invoiced for the replacement device and applicable shipping costs.
If replacement equipment has been sent, the defective device must be shipped within 1 week from the date the replacement is marked as delivered. Failure to do so will result in invoicing.
Rental Equipment
For rental equipment, a fixed fee of NOK 750 covers shipping to the customer and return shipping at the end of the rental period.
If rental equipment stops functioning:
- Replacement may be sent if operations cannot continue. The customer is responsible for shipping costs unless the issue is confirmed to be fully covered under warranty. Damage caused by misuse or external factors will be invoiced.
Rental equipment must be returned no later than 1 month after the rental period ends. Failure to return within this timeframe will result in invoicing.
Support Cases
If equipment must be returned for inspection:
- The customer may ship it to Favrit or deliver it in person.
- Shipping costs apply unless the fault is confirmed to be fully covered under warranty.
- Final invoicing decisions are made after inspection.
